My name is Denis Hogan, I graduated from Limerick Institute of Technology with a degree in Software Development in 2002. IT jobs for graduates were thin on the ground around then, so two colleagues and I set up our own business - Forge Software Systems in January 2003.

I worked on Forge Software Systems full time in 2003 and then on a part time basis while I travelled around Australia in 2004. In December 2004 we decided to close our doors to the public. During 2005, I joined a major multinational in the Financial sector as a Software engineer working on Flex/Flash/Coldfusion based web applications. I returned to Limerick in 2006 and am currently working with Flex, Coldfusion and Php.

About Denis.forgesystems.net :- well, I put a small dynamic flash site up here before I went to Australia, but soon realised that I had not allowed for the volume of information I wanted to post on the site (ie Photos, Videos, Stories, etc.). While I was in Australia, I started to use Wordpress to share my news and photos with family and friends. Since returning from Australia, my needs have changed again. So I am currently developing Denis.forgesystems.net in it's current form.

I am available for website development projects and website updates at reasonable fixed prices.
